Terms of Service

1 · What CourtKada is

CourtKada (“we”, “us”) is a court booking and payments service for sports venues in the Philippines, operated from San Fernando, Pampanga. Players reserve court time or open-play spots at a listed venue and pay a reservation deposit (or the full amount) online; the venue provides the court. We are the booking platform — the game, the court, and the house rules belong to the venue. Contact: hello@courtkada.ph.

2 · Bookings, deposits, and the balance

Selecting a slot places a short hold while you pay. A booking is confirmed only when our payment provider confirms your payment. Unless the venue requires full prepayment, you pay a deposit online and settle the remaining balance at the venue. The exact deposit, free-cancellation window, and no-show grace period are set by each venue and are shown on the venue page and at checkout — that displayed policy is the one we enforce, automatically.

3 · Cancellations, refunds, and no-shows

• Cancel within the venue’s free-cancellation window: your deposit is refunded to your original payment method, typically within 3–5 banking days.
• Cancel after the window, or don’t show up: the deposit is not refunded — it is forfeited to the venue, per the policy you accepted at checkout. Venues may mark a no-show only after the grace period shown in their policy.
• If the venue cancels your booking, you get a full refund.
• Open-play payments are non-refundable unless the venue cancels the session, in which case everyone is refunded in full.
• Any convenience fee shown at checkout is non-refundable once charged.
• If a payment lands after your hold has already expired (for example, a slow e-wallet confirmation), we refund it automatically and notify you.

4 · Payments

Payments are processed by Xendit, a licensed Philippine payment processor. We never see or store your card number or e-wallet credentials. Booking state changes only on the payment provider’s confirmation, and every peso is recorded in an auditable ledger.

5 · Waitlist and open play

If a slot is full you may join its waitlist. When the slot frees up, the next player in line gets a time-limited offer by SMS/email; claiming it starts a normal payment. Open-play sessions have a capacity — a spot is yours when your payment confirms, first-paid, first-in.

6 · For venue owners

Owners are responsible for accurate listings — courts, prices, hours, and policy. Collected amounts (including forfeited deposits) are paid out on the posted payout schedule, net of payment-processing fees, to the payout account you provide. Cash balances collected at the venue are between you and the player and do not flow through CourtKada.

7 · Accounts and acceptable use

Players sign in with a one-time email code; keep access to your email. Provide accurate details, don’t book to block courts you don’t intend to use, don’t probe or abuse the service, and don’t use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

8 · Liability

We provide the booking service “as is” and work hard to keep it available, but we can’t promise zero downtime. Play is at your own risk — the venue is responsible for the premises and the game. To the extent permitted by Philippine law, our total liability for any claim related to a booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking.

9 · Changes and law

We may update these terms as the service evolves (including completing our business registration); material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Questions first, always: hello@courtkada.ph.
