Privacy Policy

1 · What we collect

• Account: your name, email address, and (optional, for SMS updates) mobile number.
• Bookings: the venues, courts, times, and open-play sessions you book, cancel, or waitlist.
• Payments: amounts, payment method type, and payment references — never your card number or e-wallet credentials; those go directly to our payment processor, Xendit.
• Usage & diagnostics: product analytics (pages, actions) and error reports, to keep the service working.

2 · Why we use it

To run your bookings end to end: confirm payments, send booking confirmations, reminders, waitlist offers and receipts by SMS/email, show venues their schedules, process refunds and payouts, answer support questions, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t use it for third-party advertising.

3 · Who processes it

The venue you book sees your name and booking details for that booking. Behind the scenes we use vetted processors to run the service: Xendit (payments), Semaphore (SMS), Resend (email), Supabase (database & authentication), Vercel (hosting), PostHog (analytics), and Sentry (error monitoring). Each receives only what its job requires.

4 · How long we keep it

Your profile stays until you ask us to delete it. On deletion we anonymize the profile, but transaction and financial records (bookings, payments, refunds, ledger entries) are retained as Philippine bookkeeping and tax law requires — they just stop pointing at you.

5 · Your rights (Data Privacy Act of 2012)

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, object to processing, or get a copy — email hello@courtkada.ph and we’ll respond promptly. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

6 · Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is scoped so players see only their own records and venues only theirs, and payment credentials never touch our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your money data with the care we’d want for our own.

7 · Changes

We’ll post any material changes here with a new effective date. Using CourtKada after a change means you accept the updated policy.
